They are back and just as strong as ever. Platinum Blonde rocked the stage at the ‘Great Canadian Beaver Race Festival’ in Barrie, Ontario on September 24th. They played many of the old favorites that rockeded them to stardom in the 80’s. Lead singer Mark Holmes announced, “We are Platinum Blonde and we are BACK!”
Mark was accompanied by Sergio Galli on Lead Guitar, Dan Todd on Drums, and Rob Laidlaw on Bass Guitar. They played to a large crowd of devoted fans, who thrilled to the joy of hearing ‘Not In Love’, ‘Doesn’t Really Matter’, ‘Hungry Eyes’, and many more of their classic favorites.
It was also announced that they are working on a new album and they will continue to do shows. Stay tuned for more concert announcements which I hope I will have the pleasure of covering and taking more photos.
